After having Suits star Patrick J. Adams as guest star for its second season, another huge television star is going to join Orphan Black which is already in its production for its third season. The show's official Twitter account revealed that Justin Chatwin, known for his role as Son Goku in Dragonball: Evolution, has landed a role for Orphan Black Season 3.
Orphan Black Twitter account wrote:
"Attention #CloneClub: Thrilled to announce @Justingchatwin is joining the cast of #OrphanBlack! Welcome to the trip, Justin."
Although it was a highly anticipated movie, Justin Chatwin's Dragonball: Evolution was mostly panned by critics. He was able to land a better project though with Shameless wherein he is one of the main stars. Justin stars in this Showtime drama-comedy as Jimmy Lishman, a young man who does everything to win the heart of a woman. His role for the Canadian sci-fi series remains a mystery so fans of BBC show has no option but to wait for further Orphan Black Season 3 spoiler news.
Is Justin Chatwin going to play as a new lover for one of the clones just like what Patrick J Adams? A military commander? Is he on the good side or the dark side? Based on the press release for Orphan Black Season 3, it could be anything.
Official Orphan Black Season 3 synopsis reads:
"Season 3 plunges the clone sisterhood into unexpected territory with the realization that they're not alone. Just when they thought they knew their enemies and allies, season three reveals our clones are more vulnerable than ever before. Highly trained, identical male-soldiers raise more questions than answers. Who are these new clones? Who created them? And more importantly, why do they exist?
Sarah, Cosima, Alison and Helena (all played by Tatiana Maslany) are stronger together than they are apart, but this season will put that bond to the test. Will they forge towards their truth, or fall at the feet of those that seek to control them?"
