Totally Nutz Unveils New Website for Potential Franchisees

| By

Totally Nutz, the snack-based concept that brings different varieties of pecans, cashews and cinnamon glazed almonds has launched a new franchising web site that tell about how to franchise the business.

The new web site at www.totallynutzfranchise.com is especially designed to be a one-page format to allow potential franchisees to quickly navigate using their smartphones or mobile devices to various portals that show how Totally Nutz can be franchised, ranging from video interviews with founders Matt and Yvette Barker, to an overview of the concept's core values, and how a franchisee can apply and earn.

"We wanted the new website to really have some personality, representing the fun and family behind our company," said co-founder Yvette Barker.

"It needed to be highly visual so that any visitors could easily see how much fun we have, how delicious our products look and how profitable of an opportunity we offer," Barker added.

Totally Nutz originally started out as Barker's Olde Fashioned Almonds with the Barkers roasting Cinnamon Glazed Almonds and selling them at different fairs and festivals.

Through word-of-mouth, their product gained acceptance and positive reviews, and customers would even ask for more variety to be offered.

That's when the Barkers started bringing out new delectable flavors and nut varieties to the table to "wow" the customers' palates, and then consequently changing the brand name to Totally Nutz in 1992 and recently opened to franchising in May this year.

"We wanted to create a business model that allowed us the financial success we had always experienced, but with much more time to spend with family, on vacation and enjoying life," said Matt.

"Now, we're offering others the same opportunity with our new, exciting and fun franchise opportunity," he added.

The Barkers now have seven Totally Nutz branches: two in Rio Tinto Stadium in Utah, and the other five units in different festivals and fairs across Utah, California, Colorado, Wyoming and Idaho. The company plans to add 10-20 franchised stores in the next year.

For those who are interested in franchising the snack-based concept, Totally Nutz can be availed for a total of $73,000 which already includes equipment. For those who want to own three units, the franchise fee is $49,000 while a five-unit franchise costs $69,000.
