In honor of the Diamond Jubilee in Great Britain, CSL Sofas in the UK will be giving a huge discount to customers, knocking off at least £500 of each of the sofas they have available for purchase.
The Diamond Jubilee, a huge celebration commemorating Queen Elizabeth II's 60 years as reigning monarch of the United Kingdom and its territories, was celebrated the weekend of June 2-5, 2012, 60 years after the Queen's coronation. The British-based company, as stated in a press release issued by CSL Furniture on Friday, will be offering all of their sofas - and not just patriotic red, white, and blue-themed sets - for customers for a limited time.
"We first considered discounting all red, white and blue sofas in celebration of the Queen's Jubilee," a spokesman for CSL-Sofas was quoted as stating for the press release. "But we soon decided this was unfair on those looking for more traditional colors such as brown and black, therefore we decided to extend the offer to literally every single sofa in our range."
The discount also, according to the press release, includes any fabric sofa, where with some varieties the discount may exceed the minimum £500 offer being put up. Those, along with leather sofa sets, will see at least a £500 discount for consumers.
This sale not only was announced in ties with the Queen's Jubilee, but the asme time CSL Sofas released their new free Apple mobile app, said the press release, which will allow consumers to browser, buy, and even view their new sofa sets in their own living rooms before making the final purchase.
"We wanted to be able to celebrate the Queens jubilee as well as give people the very most out of the iPhone app," a member of the team at CSL-Sofas said for the press release. "And therefore it made perfect sense for us to announce this special offer within the same timeframe. So, now people can use the new iPhone app, purchase a discounted new sofa."
