To launch its new Mocha Almond Iced Coffee flavor, Dunkin' Donuts united New York Mets Manager Terry Collins and New York Yankees Manager Joe Girardi to promote the company's iced coffee blends this summer.

The two baseball team managers will take part in the "Fuels Any Series" in June and July, where Collins will promote the Mocha Iced Coffee and Girardi the Caramel Iced Coffee, said Dunkin' Donuts in a press release issued on Wednesday. The two will take part in a television and radio campaign throughout the New York City metro area and around the country to promote the iced coffee blends, in a friendly rivalry fashion between the two New York Major League Baseball teams.

"It is an honor for Dunkin' Donuts to partner with both Terry Collins and Joe Girardi for this exciting promotion. Dunkin' Donuts has a long standing relationship with both the Yankees and Mets and this partnership will be a fantastic way to highlight Dunkin' Donuts' leadership in the iced coffee category," Russ Romeo, Field Marketing Director for Dunkin' Brands in the Mid-Atlantic Region, said for the press release. "Whether you are a Yankees fan or a Mets fan, Dunkin' Donuts is sure to fuel your summer!"

Likenesses of Collins and Girardi will also be featured at Dunkin' Donuts shops throughout the New York City area, including store standees, door decals, and in-store POP, listed the press release, as well as the company's social media channels, like Facebook and Twitter.

Participating Dunkin' Donuts in the tri-state area include: the Bronx, Dutchess, Kings, Nassau, New York, Orange, Putnam, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester counties in New York State; Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren counties in New Jersey; and Fairfield, Conn, all listed in the press release.
