The last season of Banshee saw the death of one of its most loved characters, Deputy Emmett Yawners who was played by Demetrius Grosse. The life of Yawners in the small town of Banshee was never really great. All his life he battled racism due to the color of his skin. This abuse even lead to the loss of their unborn child. Deputy Emmett's wife was attack by Neo-Nazis for having a relationship with someone that belongs to a different race. The officer didn't let this pass and tracked the thugs who hurt his wife and killed their unborn baby. He eventually killed them while in jail.
For that, Deputy Yawners felt his time in Banshee is done. He retired from his job and decided to leave the city. However, the group of killed Neo-Nazis couldn't take the fact that they don't have the last say. As Yawners and his wife were traveling out of the city, they were ambushed by the friends of racist thugs. There will be no more Deputy Yawners in Banshee Season 3. Lucas Hood (Anthony Starr) and the police department is one man down.
Although Deputy Yawners will not be seen in Banshee Season 3, he is not forgotten. In fact, there is a revenge being plotted by Lucas Hood and his guys. According to Michael Ausiello of TV Line, the Neo-Nazis' group will pay for what they did to Yawners.
"Expect a Banshee-style payback for what happened to Deputy Yawners," the website said.
Aside from Mission: Revenge for Yawner, Banshee Season 3 will also see Lucas Hood, Ulrich Thomsen's Kai Proctor and Geno Seger's Chayton Littleton get tangled in more ways than one. It is no secret that they have heated rivalries but with the arrival of more characters, things will get more intense. In the same Banshee Season 3 spoiler from TV Line, it is revealed that the show will head to Camp Genoa where a leader named Colonel Douglas Stowe, to be played by Langley Kirkwood awaits.
