With Father's Day fast approaching, Sears announced setting up a "Dial Destination Dad" hotline to assist customers in purchasing the best gifts for their father's this June.
Sears, according to a press release issued by the department store brand, launched a website dedicated to Destination Dad, where a gifting expert can assist a consumer via phone or live chat on what sort of present to purchase for Father's Day, for every budget. Dial Destination Dad is available directly at (800) 376-6953.
"Sears understands who dad is and what he loves," Ron Boire, Sears Holdings' executive vice president, chief merchandising officer and president, Sears and Kmart formats, stated in a press release. "We also know the process can be a challenge, which is why we're featuring so many desirable items at such compelling prices this Father's Day. Plus, we're making it easier than ever to shop, whether online, in-store, or via a mobile device."
Brands available for Father's Day purchases include Kenmore appliances, Craftsman & DieHard, Levi's clothes and jeans, Casio and LG electronics, Samsung, Sony, Lee's apparel, and NordicTrack. The goods will be available for home delivery, and in-store assembly for many of the items, the Sears press release stated.
The Dial Destination Dad service will be available from June 4-17 from 6 a.m. to midnight seven days a week, and will provide Spanish-language customer service, said the press release. Recommendations on ideal presents will be offered via those on the networking channels for Sears products.
A few products Sears recommended for the Father's Day special included the Yard Master, helping fathers in the backyard with appliances like lawn mowers, bush trimmers, and a variety of gardening tools. Other general areas to be catered to during the sale and promotion will be for power tools and items to help construction and do-it-yourself; technology-based goods, including mobile devices, computers, and electronics, and gas grills for outdoor barbeques. Clothes and accessories like watches, shoes, and ties will be available at Sears for Destination Dad.
