In How to Get Away with Murder, sex scenes are common. Almost all characters are intimately linked to someone. There's Viola Davis' Annalise Keating secretly having a relationship with Billy Brown's Nate Lahey. Her husband Sam, played by Tom Verica, also had sex with his student Lila who was later murdered and her assistant Bonnie Winterbottom who is also bedding Keating' student Asher Millstone (played by Matt McGorry). Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) and Rebecca Sutter (Katie Findlay) also appear in love with each other while Laurel Castillo's Karla Souza and Chris Webber's Frank Delfino always sneak some touches whenever they have time.
Jack Falahee's Connor Walsh probably has the most number of sex scenes in the show, with other men. Among the members of Annalise's group of students assisting her in many cases, Connor is yet to bed one. Probably because there are only two boys. Wes is smitten by Rebecca and Asher is a competition for the ambitious gay law student. However, fans still wonder, will Connor and Asher ever hook-up before How To Get Away with Murder Season 1 ends?
Series creator Peter Nowalk addressed this question and based on his answer, it looks like there's a chance. He even said that McGorry and Falahee look good together on screen. It's just unclear whether it will be on the first season of How to Get Away with Murder or on the next ones.
"I will say for right now, no. What I love is Asher hasn't had a lot of gay friends. So he's just curious in the most intellectual and funny way to me, and I think that's very real. I'm a gay guy, and I have a lot of straight guy friends. They have great chemistry, Jack and Matt, on screen together. So we like that, but right now, [sexual chemistry] doesn't feel real to me," Nowalk told during an interview with TV Line.
"It's good that people have theories, because as they do know, anything can happen on our show. So they're not wrong to wonder. I just didn't realize the 'shippers were that strong for them."
How To Get Away with Murder winter finale will air this week and it will return next year on January 29.
