Banshee Season 3 Trailer [Watch Video]: Characters Stepping Up Actions And 'Evilness' In Freshly Released Video Teaser

| By

Over the past few weeks, Banshee teased its fans with 15-second clips featuring its main characters during the last two seasons. The waiting must be tough for the fans. Well, don't sulk now as you are now a step closer to the premier of the show with the release of Banshee Season 3 trailer. By the looks of it, things will get more intense between Lucas Hood (Anthony Starr), Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen), and Chayton Littleton (Geno Segers) when the Cinemax show returns next year.

"I've been in tighter spots than this and I'm still here," Lucas Hood said on the Banshee Season 3 trailer, an indication that he will never get a break after he got rid of Rabbit, the first two seasons' main antagonist. Meanwhile, Chayton Little, the imposing leader of Kinaho tribe, seems to be preparing for a war.

"We are here, all of us, to fight in a war," Segers' character said on the video.

Lucas Hood's problem on women will continue, too, as he and Siobhan Kelly (Trieste Kelly Dunn), his colleague and latest partner, figure in a confrontation with gun pointing involve. Lucas Hood and former lover Anastasia (played by Ivana Milicevic) seem to be working together again as she is seen in a motorbike chase.

Banshee Season 3 trailer video also featured explosions, more blood and Starr being thrown under a moving truck.

Lili Simmons' Rebecca Bowman will level up this new season. According to earlier Banshee Season 3 spoilers, the rebellious Amish girl will go from a black sheep into a gun toting girl that makes cars explode. Kai Proctor and Littleton will also be this season's big bad villains and they will be meaner than in seasons one and two.

"[Proctor and Chayton] step in to kick it up a few notches," exec producer Jonathan Tropper said during the Comic-Con last summer. "Proctor's been a threat since Season 1. And we're bringing [Chayton] back in Season 3 in a big way."

Banshee Season 3 will premier on January 9 next year.
