Television actress Rachel Bilson headed to Toronto, Canada, on Monday to promote the new line of Magnum ice cream's Magnum Mimi, at half the size of the regular Magnum ice cream bars, aiming towards busy Canadians who don't have the time to indudge in a full-sized snack.
This coincided with a recent survey Magnum did, showing that 92 percent of Canadians tried to make an effort to incorporate some form of pleasure into their daily lives. The press release said that half of those surveyed noted that time, or lack thereof was their top issue.
"It's easy to get caught up in a demanding day and forget to schedule a little time for yourself," Bilson, star of the CW's "Hart of Dixie" said at the Hazelton Hotel, as noted in the press release. "Now, when I need a minute for myself, I indulge in a Magnum Mini. The delicious combination of Belgian chocolate and vanilla bean ice cream provides a moment of pleasure during a busy day."
Four new Magnum Mini ice cream bars will be available in Canada for those lovers of the famed frozen snacks, made of real Belgian chocolate and supreme premium ice cream, stated a press release issued by Magnum on Monday.
"Magnum believes that we are all entitled to pleasure," Charlie Clark, Brand Building Manager at Unilever Canada, stated for the press release. "With the launch of Magnum Mini, Canadians can now experience indulgent pleasure in a perfect mini size - any day."
The four Canadian-based Magnum bars include the Magnum Mini Classsic, made of vanilla bean ice cream covered in a thick layer of Belgian Chocolate; the Magnum Mini Almond, with vanilla bean ice cream covered with Belgian milk chocolate and crunchy toasted almonds; the Magnum Mini Double Caramel, comprised of vanilla bean ice cream in a chocolate coating and caramel sauce surrounded by a think layer of Belgian chocolate; and the Magnum Mini Dark, with vanilla beak ice cream covered with 60 percent Cocoa Belgian dark chocolate, listed the press release.
The Magnum Mini bars, as listed in the press erlease, will be sold for a suggested retail price of $6.99 Canadian Dollars for a box of four.
