The first nine customers in line to the grand opening of the 99 Cents Only Store in San Dimas, Calif. are in for a treat: when the doors open for the store at 8:00am on Thursday, May 31, the new shop will sell an RCA 22-inch Flat Screen LCD television to them for only 99 cents.
This will not be the only 99 cents sale at the San Dimas branch of the franchise line of retail stores. The grand opening for the San Dimas branch, which will be the 99 Cents Only Store's 300th venue, will sell several more high-valued goods for 99 cents throughout the first day of sales.
According to a press release issued by 99 Cents Only Stores on Thursday, the following 99 customers - after the initial 9 who received the RCA television - in line on opening day can purchase a Scooter for just 99 cents. The 99 customers in line after the potential Scooter-buyers will get the chance to own a Bell South Visual Director Caller ID Box with Call Waiting and Voicemail Sync for 99 cents, as well.
The days after the grand opening for the San Dimas branch, located at 602 W Arrow Highway at the corner of Eucla Avenue, according to the press release, will offer many more shockingly low discounts on high-priced goods, just for 99 cents to the first customers who stand in line at checkout.
On the first weekend of the 99 Cents Only Store 's opening, the following will be sold at 99 cents to the first 99 customers in line those respective days: on Friday, June 1, customers can purchase the i.Sound iPod Shuffle Tripod; Saturday, June 2nd, the Samba Maracas for Wii; and on Sunday, June 3rd, a "Friends" 3-pack DVD collection set.
The 300th store of the 99 Cents Only Store company, which opened in 1982 in the states of California, Texas, Arizona, and Nevada, according to the press release, will continue to offer the 99-cent discount incentive through Wednesday, June 6th to those first 99 customers in line the respective days.
"On Monday, June 4th, the first 99 customers can buy a 15" Full-Size Back Pack with Front Zipper - a $15.00 value - for only 99 cents," listed the press release. "On Tuesday, June 5th, the first 99 customers can buy Hasbro's The Moment of Truth Board Game for 99 cents! On Wednesday, June 6th, the first 99 customers can purchase The Art of Pirates of the Caribbean coffee table style book - a $50 value - for only 99 cents!"
