LG G Pad 7.0 LTE Version Now Available in U.S. Cellular; Does the Tablet Surpassed LG G Pad 8.3’s Success?

| By

More than 4 months after its formal announcement, the latest tablet from the South Korean company has released its LTE version. LG's newest tablet device, LG G Pad 7.0 LTE version is recently launched in U.S. Cellular, as reported by Android Central.

According to Android Central, LG G Pad 7.0's LTE version is now available for purchase through online stores and physical outles of U.S. Cellular. Alongside LG G3, the tech giant's flagship smartphone, G Pad 7.0 is set to work on U.S. Cellular's 4G LTE network. The device with ultra fast connection is expected to reach 93 percent of its consumer before the year end. Price wise, the new LG G Pad 7.0 LTE version is available at $99 on a two-year contract. This is somehow more expensive compared to purchasing the G Pad 7.0 itself. In the U.K., LG G Pad 7.0 is priced at £140, and often than not, lesser when it is offered online.

The Korean multinational electronic company originally announced its newest tablet last May and was released in the market last July. Its predecessor, LG G Pad 8.3 has notably garnered positive reviews. Thus, it is still a question of the new Pad 7.0 exceeds its predecessor. Sadly, Pocket-lintcited that the 8.3 tablet is still better than the newly released device. This is because Pad 8.3 is a bit higher end tablet compared to LG G Pad 7. When it comes to its design, LG G Pad 7 fails to move every tech buff in the market. The device may offer variations in color outside the U.K. but for Asian market, it only offers black and white variation.

Nonetheless, the Korean-based company's device can still be considered a solid enough tablet product. This is because the 7-inch tablet has a relatively good enough IPS LCD display, GSM Arena cited. It has 800 x 1280 resolution that translates to 216 pixel density.

LG G Pad 7.0, with 189.3 x 113.8 x 10.1 mm dimension and 293 grams weight, is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chip and quad-core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. It also has Android Kitkat 4.4 system and an Adreno 350 GPU, GSM Arena reports.

In terms of memory, LG G Pad 7.0 has 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage capacity. With its microSD slot, LG's tablet allows expansion up to 64GB. The latest tablet from the Korean-based tablet has 3.15MP main camera and 1.3MP selfie snapper that is a bit way behind other tablet's snapper quality.

On the other hand, LG G Pad 7.0 is powered by indeed powerful None-removable Li-ion mAh battery.
