For travelers wanting to spend their holidays like their favorite celebrities, they have the chance to now: Hotels.com released a list of some of the top resorts and hotels around the world that the rich and famous frequent during holidays and while working. The best celebrity spots include key central cities for show business, like Los Angeles and New York City, as well as retreats in the island of Jamaica and the ski resorts in Aspen, Colo.
Hotels.com, a top travel accommodation booking website, released the list as part of their promotion for their Welcome Rewards plan, where travelers and vacationers can use credits earned to get a discount or free stay at some of the hotels at which celebrities reside. Welcome Rewards allows vacationers to collect 10 nights of hotel stay to get one free, in any of the 65,000 hotels available on Hotels.com.
"If you want to live the life of luxury, you can enjoy a five-star hotel stay just like a celebrity - maybe even rubbing elbows with one in the process!" Taylor L. Cole, director public relations and social media, North America at Hotels.com, stated in the press release issued on Thursday. "Guests can use their Welcome Rewards credits to book an affordable night at a five-star hotel or a traveler's Welcome Rewards credits can be applied toward a more expensive room as an upgrade to a more luxurious stay for a fraction of the cost."
Some of the hotels included as part of the promotion, and those visited by celebrities include: the Chateau Marmont on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, recently providing temporary stay for stars like Emma Roberts, Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel, Kirsten Dunst, and famed directors Tim Burton and Sofia Coppola; the Soho Grand Hotel in New York, hosting the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Heidi Klum, Kevin Spacey, and Sarah Jessica Parker; and the Metropolitan Hotel in London's Hyde Park, for top celebrities like Madonna, Johnny Depp, Jude Law, Tom Hanks and Cameron Diaz, as listed in Hotels.com's press release.
A few resorts where celebrities can be found, as noted in the press release, are the Geejam Hotel in Jamaica, for Sharon Stone, Gwen Stefani, and Bjork; the Bacara Resort and Spa in Santa Barbara, Calif., a hot spot for singer Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel; and The Little Nell hotel and ski resort in Aspen, a lounging spot for Jack Nicholson, Mariah Carey and Kate Hudson.
