Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH will open seven new stores in the next two years as part of its Premium Outlets division, according to a new press release issued by Simon Property Group, Inc. on Monday. Among the seven locations are: Merrimack Premium Outlets in New Hampshire, expected to open a month from today, June 14, 2012; Phoenix Premium Outlets in Chandler, Az. in Spring 2013; St. Louis Premium Outlets in Chesterfield, MO and Orlando Premium Outlets - Vineland Ave in Florida sometime in 2013; Tampa Premium Outlets in Wesley Chapel, FL and Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora, Il. sometime in 2014; and the Las Vegas Premium Outlets - North in Nevada tentative for a 2015 open.
Gregg Goodman, President of The Mills, a Simon company, is looking forward to the new store which will be delivered at Potomac Mills. "Saks is going to build a new, highly-productive store," Goodman said, as stated in the Simon Property Group, Inc. press release. "We're thrilled they are going to continue to serve our customers in the D.C. and Virginia markets."
The first of the seven outlets set to be open, this coming June, will be a 28,000 square foot Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH at the grand opening of the Merrimack Premium Outlets in New Hampshire, and 34 Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH locations in the Simon Property Group, Inc. portfolio for the Premium Outlets and The Mills, including Potomac Mills.
