The Flash series is now going to its sixth episode. Arrow has just aired its sixth for its third season. This only means one thing. We are now close to the much awaited crossover episodes of the two CW Network series. Earlier reports said the Flash-Arrow crossover episodes will happen on the eighth of each show. There's not much report being released regarding the details of this encounter of the heroes from Central City and Starling City over the past weeks. On November 12, CW has finally released a synopsis for the Flash Arrow crossover episodes.
The first of the The Flash Arrow crossover episode, titled Flash vs Arrow, will see Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), John Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) visit Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) to investigate a case. The synopsis read:
"Excited about teaming up with his friend, Barry asks Oliver if he'd like to help him stop Ray Bivolo, the meta-human Barry is currently tracking. Bivolo causes people to lose control of their emotions and has been using that skill to rob banks. Unfortunately, the superhero partnership doesn't go as smoothly as Barry expected. When Oliver tells Barry he still has a lot to learn, Barry sets out to prove him wrong by attempting to stop Bivolo alone."
The second The Flash Arrow crossover episode, which Arrow Season 3 will air, is titled The Brave and the Bold. According to the synopsis released, Oliver's team tracks down the location of "a boomerang-wielding killer named Digger Harkness (guest star) but are surprised when they come face to face with an A.R.G.U.S. Team." Oliver will ask Barry's help but Harkness will prove too much for both of them. This episode was directed by Jesse Warn and written by Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg.
The Flash Arrow crossover episodes will air on December 2 (for the Flash), and December 3 for Arrow Season 3.
