Weeks after the latest flagship smartphone of the Japanese tech giant was released commercially, an exclusive report said Sony is already cooking its new handset slated for next year's release. Contrary to initial rumors, it is not Xperia Z3X, because Sony fans will be given another Z handset, the Sony Xperia Z4.
Sources knowledgeable about the inner happenings in the Japan-based multinational electronic company cleared that Sony has no Xperia Z3X underway; instead, the tech giant is creating a new high end phone that is set to blow its competitors away. And this is the Sony Xperia Z4.
Slated for March 2015 launch, probably in line with the annual Mobile World Congress set in Barcelona, the upcoming flagship phablet will reportedly sport huge boost compared to its soon-to-be predecessor Z3. It is reported that Xperia Z4 will be powered by the also upcoming 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor clocked at 2.8GHz. This ultra fast processor will also be paired by the freshly made Adreno 430 GPU and better 4GB RAM compared to Z3's 3GB.
The upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 will also have a bigger 5.5-inch QHD display set at 1440 x 2560 resolution which is a huge boost compared to Z3's 5.2-inch full HD display. Memory wise, Sony will also finally upgrade its 16GB internal memory to 32GB in the upcoming Z4.
In terms of snapper quality, Xperia Z4 will reportedly feature a whopping 27MP rear facing camera and 10MP selfie cam which is way better than Z3's current camera. The 2015 flagship smartphone of Sony, which is rumored to be the only one, is also reportedly to be the first Sony handset with LTE Cat.6 connectivity and Bluetooth 4.1. With these high tech calibrations, you may want to save your money before you get the release Z3, because maybe Sony Xperia Z4 will be worth the wait.
Aside from the Xperia Z4, Sony will also launch a 12-inch tablet during the first quarter of 2015. Report said Taiwanese tech makers said the big tablet from the Japan-based company is currently underway.
