Steamatic Inc., frontrunner in providing cleaning and restoration services with over 500 franchises in the country and a market in 25 countries across the globe, introduced the Steamatic Lindy Berry Memorial Scholarship Program to provide financial aid to franchisees of the store, their children and even to their grandchildren who plans to go to college or study vocational courses.
The Scholarship Program is named after Lindy Berry, former vice president and general manager of Steamatic, Inc. who passed away in April 2014. Before that, he was an All-American football player at TCU. His peers and colleagues see his accomplishments as an inspiring role model in terms of leadership, integrity and character.
"Lindy spearheaded our organization for a long time and has played an incredible role in our success," said Bill Sims, chairman of Steamatic, Inc.
"We are grateful to honor his life with the Scholarship Program. He was always looking to help others, and I believe he would be very proud of providing financial assistance to Steamatic franchisees and their families," Sims added.
Steamatic Inc.'s Scholarship Management Services will be handing out the scholarships without bias to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.

Steamatic, which has the mission of "making our world a safer and cleaner environment for present and future generations." provides cleaning and restoration services with highly trained and certified technicians work with insurance agents, adjusters and directly with the public.
Restoration services include water mitigation fire and smoke mitigation, mold remediation, and contents recovery.
Commercial and residential services include carpet cleaning, area rugs, furniture and drapery cleaning, hard surface cleaning, air duct cleaning.
