Wayback Burgers acknowledges more than 19,000 active and retired duty military personnel on the Port Hueneme Naval Base with free food on their very own special day Tuesday, Nov.11.
Both active and retired military personnel who served at the Port Hueneme Naval Base will have the opportunity to grab a free menu item, with no purchase necessary for the whole of Tuesday, Nov. 11/
Wayback Burgers first opened its doors for American veterans when it opened its first location at the Port Huenme Naval Base Ventura Country back in January this year.
The military base, who has a total population of over 19,000 employees, has been operating as an American Naval base in the area since 2000 and is a one-stop for different military services like mobilization, deep water port, airfield and railhead site.
Aside from the Port Heuneme branch, over 85 Wayback Burger joints across the country will also be offering a free Wayback Classic Burger on Veterans Day to retired and active-duty military personnel with the purchase of any drink and side from the menu by presenting a valid military ID.
"It's our way of saying thanks to the real heroes on the Port Hueneme Naval Base and across the country with real classic burgers," said John Eucalitto, President of Wayback Burgers.
"We are proud to honor the sacrifices made by veterans past, present and future. Many of our guests have connections to the military, so giving back to those who serve our country is very important to us. We want to show our support and appreciation for all of these brave men and women and their families," Eucalitto added.
Wayback Burgers was dubbed as one of the most aggressive and ambitious burger brands in the United States.
Wayback Burgers serves fresh, delicious hand-made burgers and hand-dipped milkshakes with exemplary customer service.
The restaurant offers rich, thick milkshakes made the old-fashioned way by hand, using only fresh milk and hand-dipped ice cream.
Wayback Burgers also serves crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, turkey burgers, and house-made chips.
