"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is an action role-playing game set in an 'open world' as video gamers call theirs as "virtual world." Currently being developed by CD Projekt RED and this is said to be released for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4 and Xbox One on Feb. 24, 2015. It is rumored that this game is yet to be developed for Linux and MAC OS. This would be the third installment following "The Witcher" and "The Witcher 2: Assassins of the Kings" that are all based from the series of fantasy novels created by author Andrzej Sapkowski.
This third chapter of the series will be the same as the previous installments. There would be some difference like living in a larger 'open world' rather than any other modern RPG history, 30 times larger than that of "The Witcher 2: Assassins of the Kings." In previous chapters he has fought for the lives of many and had brawled legendary monsters and even overthrown monarchs. Now the witcher Geralt of Rivia will fight the battle of his lifetime wherein he would need to struggle for his loved ones and defend the world from an ancient threat.
The story will depend on the player's decisions and each action will have consequences that will make a difference as the player levels up. NPCs, communities, monsters and locations changes depending on the player's decisions and unlike other RPGs, "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is a standalone adventure where new players can effortlessly join. Witcher fans will also notice clever allusions to their adventures which will have no big impact in enjoying the game completely. With its exceptional environment, memorable characters and resolute dialog - you would definitely have an inimitable sense. It may seem like one of the traditional dark fantasy tale but it will surely appeal to fans of all kinds of fantasy stories.
"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is currently at $59.96 with free shipping. As of this writing, they only have the Standard Edition but it may change after this game is released.
