Samsung launched its Galaxy Tab 4 Nook and was announced in New York last Aug. 20. Subsequent to its release in New York, there were rumors that it may not be launched in the U.K.; however, a little after Aug. 20 launch, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook was introduced in the U.K. with an introductory price of £159. Meanwhile, Apple iPad Mini 3 was released in California last Oct. 16 and it was then launched in the U.K. by the 17th of Oct. As usual to Apple users and enthusiasts, the introductory price of the iPad Mini 3 varies from their models, unlike other Apple gadgets such iPads and iPhones, their price depends on their specs.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook is thicker and heavier than the Apple iPad Mini 3. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Nook is using Android 4.4 KitKat with some Samsung TouchWiz feels. It has 7-inch, 1280 x 800 (216 ppi) TFT touchscreen, with a quad-core, 1.2GHz Marvell processor, 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, expandable by up to 32GB via microSD. Whereas Hexquisite states that the 7.9inch device called the Apple iPad Mini 3 does not have much of a difference from the last year's model; however, this one comes with some updates and enhancements. One of which is the latest Apple's NFC payment system known as Apple Pay, thru iOS 8.1 on iPad Mini 3 which is currently available only the U.S. Also major update on this new iPad version is the Touch ID fingerprint sensor in the home screen button, this feature was barely available exclusively to both iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 models.
With all these spectacular and juicy information, consumers will have to judge which shines brighter between the two! It would be very difficult to choose if you look at it in glance, but it will always be better to dig deep into the details to make the right and practical way of buying, without getting "what if's" in the future.
