Philly Pretzel Factory Gives Free Trip to Europe to One Lucky Winner

Philly Pretzel Factory announced the winner of Oktoberfest, a system-wide contest with a grand prize of two tickets to Germany which includes airfare and a hotel stay.

Zach Hurst, the contest winner is a resident of Mount Olive, New Jersey. He will be given the grand prize at the Hackettstown, New Jersey at 150 Mountain Ave. this coming Nov.4.

Aside from the awarding, the event will also host a celebration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. attended by Philly Pretzel Factory CEO Dan DiZio and President Marty Ferrill.

Branch owners Carl and Erica Boos will be handing free one pretzel to every customer that comes to the store and attends the event.

"It's with great pleasure that we celebrate with the Hackettstown community and present this prize to Zach," said DiZio.

"We'd like to give a huge thanks to all who entered and made this contest a great success for Philly Pretzel Factory," the CEO added.

Carl and Erica Boos have a long-standing history of community outreach and involvement through their Philly Pretzel Factory location.

The husband-and-wife team have been participating in fundraisers to community events, has embraced their neighborhood and regularly give thanks by giving away pretzels to athletic teams, hospitals, schools and police and fire departments.

The couple has been awarded "Rookie of the Year' at the Philly Pretzel Factory annual meeting, awarded for their outstanding first year as business owners. They recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of their Hackettstown location, the same store where Hurst found the winning scratch-off ticket.

"We're known as "the pretzel people" around town and we're so grateful to the Hackettstown community and surrounding towns for their continued support," said Erica Boos.

"We'd like to take the time to appreciate our loyal fans and share fresh baked pretzels in honor of Zach and his big win at our location," they added.
