It always has been Microsoft and Apple who's competing for technology regarding operating systems. This time around, Microsoft will go again with Apple's newest operating system OS X Yosemite for desktops, laptops and tablets.
With their new Windows 10, Microsoft is set to release an all new and greatly connected system. Experts believe that Microsoft wants to create something similar to Windows 7 which was their top seller, when it comes to OS.
According to Hallels, fans eagerly wait for its release date expecting that it will be the next big thing that connects all their devices seamlessly, but rumors suggest that it will only release by the end of 2015 as engineers are still working on it.
Tech Radar reported that Windows 10 will be "one application platform" for all the devices that run Windows, with one store to rule them all.
Start menu will make its comeback as Microsoft said in their Build 2014 conference earlier this year. It will be merging with Windows 8 tiles-style and will surely please both touch and mouse users.
Another feature that will make the Microsoft users happy is the Task View. That might sound familiar to Apple users but not to Microsoft ones. It will be new to them and it will be a great addition. Represented by a new button on the task bar, Task View provides users with multiple desktops to help organize their work flow.
Snap Fill and Snap Assist will also make their return in OS X. Dragging an application to one side of the screen will "snap" the app in place, resizing it to utilize screen real estate. The rest of the screen can then be filled by other application, occupying the remaining space available to maximize the screen.
Touch controls are still on the Windows 10 as Digital Trends reported. Even with the new compromised style of Windows 10 that brings the mouse-and-keyboard crowd back into the fold, touch controls aren't going anywhere in the new operating system. The Charms bar of Windows 8 is back, with some improvements in place.
Also there are many keyboard shortcuts added and the command prompt.
This all new Windows 10 will definitely bring great stuff to its users.
