Arooga's Grille House & Sports Bar will open their 9th Central Pennsylvania location on Wednesday, October 29. They will be offering free wings for a year to their first 50 guests.
Aside from the generous offer of award-winning wings for a year, this innovative full-service casual restaurant and bar's new location will also bring 100 employees to work in the Cumberland Valley.
Founded in July 2008, Arooga has been known for its exceptional menus with a unique concept of sports and entertainment combination. With their grand opening of their 7300 square-foot new location at 105 W. King Street in Shippensburg, they will be introducing a new menu for their customers. These include 100 HD TVs complete with sports packages, more than 30 wing sauces, and more than 40 draft beers.
Gary Huether, Jr., president and one of the co-founders of Arooga said, "Shippensburg is a great college town with a wonderful history, a vibrant business district, and tight-knit local community. Arooga's is excited to be a part of all of those things."
Huether also said that their free wings for a year is to reward their earliest customers that will join them in their new location opening. He said that being the best sports bar in Central Pennsylvania is not a myth, and they are going to prove that by showing off some of their new digs.
For the past six years, Arooga evidently justified their honor in the industry of sports bar being selected as America's Next Top Restaurant franchise. The restaurant is also consistent in winning awards such as the Best Bar Food, Best Casual Date Spot, Best Burger, Best Happy Hour Spot, Best Wings and Best Neighborhood Bar.
