Pie Five Pizza Co. brings back its seasonal favorite-the Great Pumpkin Spice Cake available until Nov. 30.
The delectable dessert, The Great Pumpkin Spice Cake is the brainchild of Chef Andy Wittman last year and is made with Libby's pumpkin filling, cinnamon, brown sugar, nutmeg and clove, topped with a generous drizzle of delicious spiced pumpkin frosting.
"I knew he wouldn't let me down this year, I just knew it. The Great Pumpkin rises again!" shouted Wittman. "Thanks to him, my delicious combination of cake and cookie made from real pumpkin and baked fresh daily has become the perfect complement to a great personalized pizza at Pie Five each fall. I believe in my Pumpkin Spice Cake and so will you!"
The scrumptious dessert is available by the slice or as a whole cake at all Pie Five Restaurants across the country until Nov. 30.
Pie Five offers a wide selection of handcrafted personal pizzas and different combinations of specialty pies at an affordable price. The restaurant also serves freshly-tossed salads and delicious desserts and preps the meals in less than five minutes.
"Andy's masterpiece was such a hit last year that we didn't bother arguing over his obsession with the Great Pumpkin this time. My Andy has a hero just like any other well-balanced young man, plain and simple," said Granny Wittman staunchly.
"Not to mention, his Pumpkin Spice Cake has even become a Thanksgiving tradition in our house. If there's one thing I've learned from my own experience, you can't argue with a genius in the kitchen. That, and a little bit of crazy can be a tasty thing!" she exclaimed.
