Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip will roll out pumkin-flavored holiday treats starting Sunday, October 26.
Cafés across the country will start serving two holiday offerings-pumpkin spice lattes and pumkin spice cookies. The items will only be available for a limited time. Customers can patronize the products until November 30.
Shawnon Bellah, Senior Vice President of Global Operations for Crest Foods Inc. and franchisor of the Nestlé Café, said that pumpkin spice-flavored treats are favorite during this time period.
"It's true, our trademark chocolate chip cookies are the crown jewels of our cafés and our premium roast coffees combine to create the perfect pick-me-up. But there's always so much excitement and anticipation when fall rolls around because we know we have something extra special in store for our guests," said Bellah.
Pumpkin Spice is often the go-to flavor for specialty drinks and treats during the fall season. Starbucks's Pumpkin Spice is one of the favorite drinks in autumn. Other food brands have been releasing their own menu items centered around the flavor. From ice creams to lattes to cookies, food franchises have been riding on this bandwagon.
For the past few years, the arrival of autumn is welcomed by sweaters, golden leaves and pumpkin spice-flavored everything. It's not just in the food, too, since there are toothpaste and nasal spray that comes in pumpkin spice flavor.
Nestlé Toll House Café started operations in 2001 in Dallas, Texas. It is now based in Richardson, Texas. Built by one of the world's most powerful food brands Nestlé, the Café specializes in cookies and cookie cakes, muffins, brownies, and smoothies.
