Painting with a Twist, the country's leading paint-and-sip franchise will host events on Veterans Day this coming November 11 to help out the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
The company plans to lend out a helping hand and hold fundraising events through Painting with a Purpose.
100 locations will join in on the event, and half of the event's proceeds will be donated to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
Guests can go to the nearest Painting with a Twist branch to know where participating studio near them.
For just $35, guests can draw a picturesque scene on bare canvases using paint and brushes provided by the studio with the theme "Amber Waves of Grain" during the Painting with a Purpose event led by local art instructors.
It is the first time of the company to hold an event like this to support the nation's veterans. The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides children of those who have served the country and lost their lives during line of duty with financial assistance for post secondary education together with family and educational counselling.
Aside from that, the foundation also goes to the aid of severely wounded or hospitalized members of the family and hold charity events each month through Painting with a Purpose. The program has raised nearly $1 million for local non-profit organizations.
"We are proud to host this national Painting with a Purpose event to give back to those who have given their lives in service to our country," said Cathy Deano, co-founder of Painting with a Twist.
"Through the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, we have the opportunity to collectively honor our troops and their families on Veteran's Day," Deano added.
There are more than 4,000 original pieces of copyrighted artwork, ranging from landscapes, abstracts and cityscapes, iconic buildings and florals, creative renderings of animals, which have all been conceptualized and produced by Painting with Twist art instructors.
