The iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 will soon be available possibly next week. Right now they could be pre-ordered in any Apple Store.
The iPad Air 2 come in three finishes - Gold, Silver and Space Gray. You can get either the Wi-Fi version only or get one that includes cellular service. The Air 2 is powered by an A8X chip that uses 64-bit architecture. It also has the M8 motion co-processor for the graphics. The iPad Air 2 has the current distinction of being the "thinnest iPad" made by Apple.
The iPad Air 2 is equipped with an 8 MP iSight rear Camera which has an autofocus and improved face detection. Video is at 1080p with time lapse video. The FaceTime HD front camera has 1.2 MP resolutions.
The Air 2 has the Apple Pay and Touch ID fingerprint sensor and you will also have Siri as your digital assistant. It also has a built in and rechargeable battery made of lithium polymer.
The iPad Air 2 16 GB version is estimated to sell at around $499 and the 64 GB is around $599 while the 128 can reach $699.
Just like the iPad Air 2, the mini 3 comes in three different finishes and same coverage. The Mini 3 is powered by an A7 processor using 64-bit architecture. Graphics is powered by a M7 motion co-processor.
The rear and front camera as well as the video have almost the same capabilities as the iPad Air 2. However, the rear camera in Air 2 is more powerful than that of the Mini 3. The rear camera has only 5 MP of resolution. The front camera and video is almost the same as the Air 2.
It also has Apple Pay and Touch ID. Like most of Apple's mobile device, you will be assisted by Siri. The battery is made up of lithium polymer, built in and rechargeable.
The iPad Mini 3 16 GB version will have retail price of around $399 for the Wi-Fi version only.
