The 34-year-old rapper T.I. had become the Prince Charming who rescued the damsel in distress - in this case, it's Iggy Azalea who played the damsel and Snoop Dogg as the villain - well, just a bully in this case.
After Snoop Dogg had bullied Iggy Azalea on social media, T.I., who is a close friend with Snoop Dogg, had come in between the feud.
According to a source who told Us, "T.I. jumped in to defend her. Iggy is family to him, but so is Snoop. It started out as something playful...and then turned serious,"
The two artists had blasted comments to one another for three days now. The source added, "They both took things the wrong way...T.I. talked it out with Snoop and then Iggy and was the mediator. Everybody understands now and they know what they did was wrong," It was like "seeing a brother and a sister fight."
T.I. has been the Fancy singer's mentor for a long time and he also signed her to his label, Grand Hustle, in 2012. T.I had produced Azalea's albums exclusively and both have also collaborated on the track No Mediocre.
The feud was started by Snoop which started out as something naughty and things just got out of hand quickly. I.T. had convinced Snoop to apologize last Wednesday, but not before he had already called Azalea names.
The source said finally, "They were both out of line but it's all good now."
Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr, known by his stage name T.I. is a rapper and record producer hailed from Georgia. He is the founder and co-CEO of Grand Hustle Records that started out in 2003.
In March 2012, T.I announced that he signed Iggy Azalea to Grand Hustle records. He became the executive producer on Azalea's debut extended play Glory.
