Model Heidi Klum and former husband Seal had at last finalized their divorce last Tuesday, October 14. The couple has been separated for two years. This is confirmed by Us Weekly.
Klum and Seal was married last May 2005 and separated after seven years of marriage in January 2012. The couple has four children together.
Last 2012 when Klum and Seal filed for divorce, they released a joint statement, saying, "While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal, and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition."
Both parties have been true to their promise since their separation as they both remained amicable with their children as their top priorities.
Heidi Klum, 41, is a German model, television host, fashion designer and television producer.
In 2004, while Heidi Klum was still pregnant with Flavio Biatore's child Leni, she began dating Seal. Seal then became Leni's de facto dad. They got engaged in December that year and married five months after on a beach in Mexico.
Klum and Seal have three biological children together: Henry Gunther Ademola Dashtu Samuel who was born 2005, Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel who was born a year after Henry and a daughter named Lou Sulola Samuel who was born in 2009.
Seal, born Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel, is an English sould and R&B singer-songwriter who has sold more than 30 million albums globally.
On January 2012, they announced their separation. Three months later, Heidi filed for divorce. Since the separation, Klum was in a relationship with her bodyguard Martin Kristen from September 2012 until early 2014. Klum is currently dating art collector Vito Schnabel from February 2014.
