George Clooney's wife Amal Alamuddin does not mind giving her husband expensive gift even if the actor may seem to have everything.
In a report by E! News, the human rights lawyer has ordered Murano cocktail glasses from Venice as her surprise gift for her actor husband.
George Clooney and AmalAlamuddin got married in Venice, Italy in August.
According to the news outlet, Alamuddin's gift to Clooney are "the exact same glasses that they drank out of" during their almost a week-long wedding celebration.
The report added the Alamuddin purchased 12 "brightly colored tumblers", which are $100 per piece and are to be put in the bar of their new house near London.
A source told E! News that "Amal loves the idea of them having the same cocktail glasses that they use at the Cipriani Hotel in Venice. George admired them every time he looked at them during the wedding celebrations and they didn't have time to go shopping in Venice, so she's ordered them in as a post-wedding gift for him. It means that every time they curl up with a cocktail at home they'll think of their wedding and be reminded of all the happy memories."
It was also reported that aside from these glasses, George Clooney's wife Amal Alamuddin has also ordered "silk napkins and hand-crafted napkin holders to match the glasses". The total amount is said to be at $2,500.
After their wedding in September, the couple are now back to their respective works.
Alamuddin is currently in Greece working on a case, while George Clooney gets back to work promoting his new movie "Tomorrowland" in New York City.
"It is not lost on me that I'm spending my honeymoon at Comic-Con," he said at the Comic-Con event.
Aside from getting back to their routines, Amal Alamuddin is reportedly using her husband's name.
According to Today, Alamuddin is now listed as Amal Clooney on the website Doughty Street Chambers where the 36-year-old British lawyer works for.
