WWE Smackdown Spoilers & Rumors: Dean Ambrose Wins Against Kane Via DQ; Daniel Bryan Won’t Appear At Wrestlemania 31

| By

WWE Smackdown spoilers & rumors indicated that Dean Ambrose won against Kane in the main event via disqualification, while reports also revealed that Daniel Bryan is facing a longer spell on the sidelines.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown, which was taped on Tuesday night in Birmingham, reportedly started with Seth Rollins grabbing the microphone and mocked Ambrose, saying that his former Shield partner doesn't deserve to be in "Hell In A Cell" match.

Dolph Ziggler then interrupted and dropkicked Rollins, signaling the start of the match. As expected, Rollins won against Ziggler via a Curb Stomp.

After the Rollins-Ziggler match, Ambrose came out and talked about Hell In A Cell, describing how he will destroy Rollins inside the cell, but was interrupted by Kane, who said that he will face Ambrose for Friday night Smackdown's main event.

In the main event, Ambrose got the win via disqualification after Rollins interfered in the match, teaming up with Kane to power bomb Ambrose. Rollins also planned to Curb Stomp his ex-Shield partner, but Ambrose saved himself from further humiliation. Ambrose managed to get back and grabbed a steel chair, attempting to hit Rollins with it, but ended up striking Kane instead.

In other matches, AJ Lee scored an easy win against Layla, Nikki Bella defeated Naomi, while Sheamus & The Usos won against Goldust, Stardust & The Miz as indicated in a WWE Smackdown spoilers & rumors update on Wrestlezone.

Meanwhile, Daniel Bryan is not expected to return to WWE anytime soon as reportsrevealed that the 33-year-old might undergo major surgery that would force him to remain on the sidelines for the next several months.

Previous WWE Smackdown spoilers & rumors indicated that Bryan might make his return before Wrestlemania 31, but SESCOOPS reported that he might undergo Tommy John surgery to repair a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow after failing to recover from the injury through rehab.

Recovery for such surgery could take 6-12 months, which means that he will miss big events next year with Brad Davis of SESCOOPS saying that the popular wrestler might not return to action at all.
