After promoting the new single on social media, 5 Seconds Of Summer's 'Good Girls' music video has finally been released!
Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Luke Clemmings and Michael Clifford try their hand at acting in the new clip.
The four Australian heartthrobs are commissioned to help reform "bad girls" in a correction school by playing classical music. Gripping violins and cellos, and dressed in polo shirts with ties, they praise good girls and deliver comical lines at the same time.
"Good girls are just bad girls that haven't been caught," the headmaster tells the boys, blindly hoping that their music can help change the ladies in the facility.
As expected, they lose the classical instruments as soon as they go through the school-slash-prison. Instead, they drag their guitars and drum sets to the grounds, hack into the sound system and cause chaos all over the school
5 Seconds Of Summer's 'Good Girls' was previewed through a 30-second teaser earlier in the week, telling fans of the impending release through social media. Prior to the video release on October 10, Ashton Irwin posted the artwork for 'Good Girls' on Twitter.
The drummer said, "Do you like the good girls artwork I drew it with a pen backstage at jimmy Fallon. [I] wanted it to look like the drawings on my old school books."
In the said Jimmy Fallon guesting, 5SOS previewed the latest single along with a performance of 'Amnesia.'
Meanwhile, on the day that the video was released, the band wrote on Facebook, "Here is the music video for 'GOOD GIRLS'. We take over a school and cause some chaos... Hope you like it."
5SOS will be going on their own tour after opening for One Direction's concerts. 'Rock Out With Your Socks Out' will start next year after One Direction's 'Where We Are' tour.
