Taylor Swift 'Out Of The Woods' Song At Number One, Following 'Shake It Off' Success

Taylor Swift's second song off her album, 1989, is flying after her first one, Shake It Off. Out of the Woods was released last Tuesday morning on iTunes and this '80s inspired song it has already reached number one.

Her new songs pushes out a more sensitive and personal side of the singer and is about how to keep a struggling relationship work.

According to the 24-year-old singer-songwriter in an interview with Good Morning America last Monday, the song "sounds exactly like that frantic feeling of anxiety and questioning [a relationship]."

Swift co-wrote the track with Fun guitarist Jack Antonoff. Antonoff revealed to USA Today that he had sent the Love Story singer a "big, boombastic looping beat" for the track. In an instant, she he replied with a vocal part. Swift said, "I came up with that melody, the verse and chorus, in about 30 minutes and sent it back to him," she added, "Both of us were just freaking out."

You Belong with Me singer says that Out of the Woods will not be released as a single. Although Swift had in mind to release it before the album drops on October 27 due to the fact that "I think it's the greatest example of the sound of this album."

At the age of 14, Swift decided to pursue a career in country music and signed with the independent label Big Machine Records. She instantly became the youngest songwriter ever hired by Sony/ATV Music publishing house.

In 2006, Swift released her self-titled album that earned her a Best New Artist nomination at the 2008 Grammy Awards. She released her second album, Fearless, in 2008 and her pop crossover music gained success with her singles, Love Story and You Belong with Me. The album won her four Grammy Awards. Swift released a couple more albums and now her fifth album, 1989, has produced a number one singe, Shake It Off.
