Dragon Ball Xenoverse confirmed to be release in 2015!
Dragon Ball Xenoverse," which has been shortened to Dragon Ball XV, is an upcoming game in the "Dragon Ball Z: Budokai" franchise by Japanese game company Dimps. It's set to be released in 2015 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. It will be the fifteenth title in the franchise. Xenoverse will also be the first Dragon Ball game released on the eighth generation consoles as well as PC.
According to Tom's Guide news, Dragonball Xenoverse looks to be the next generation game in the Dragonball franchise that will stand in and fill in the cracks in many anime fan's hearts. If we look back on previous installments, this new add, Dragonball Xenoverse has an impressive Roster of new characters, pitch-perfect graphics and enough high-flying combat to please anyone who grew up on Goku's adventures in the 90's.
The game was unleased at the 2014 New York Comic Con which is much similar to Dragonball Z games. For gamers who played at the Comic Con New York event, one can prove that the game delivers on all what it promises in the last-gen systems that Dragonball Xenoverse will surely give you that feeling you desire, Tom's Guide further explains.
Unlike the previous games of the series that usually follow the original Dragon Ball canon, "Xenoverse" will feature an entire new story. Towa and Mira's Time Breakers have begun interfering with time, and so the Time Patrol, led by Future Trunks and the Future Warrior are sent back in time to stop them.
During Goku, Piccolo, and Gohan's battle with Raditz, the Time Breakers interfere and power up Raditz, allowing him to dodge Gohan's attack and escape the Full-Nelson Special Beam Cannon, causing only Goku to be hit.
Later on Namek, due to the Time Breaker's interference, Frieza begins to win the conflict, forcing the Future Warrior to interfere, though Frieza still defeats him, Goku, Gohan, and Piccolo. In the battle Gohan is killed instead of Krillin.
At the climax of the Cell Games, when Gohan and Cell are preparing their Kamehameha clash, Cell is powered up by the Time Breakers.
During the final battle with Kid Buu, Goku is not strong enough alone to push the Super Spirit Bomb into Kid Buu, so the Future Warrior arrives and helps him to use the attack.
The story is revealed to be about mysterious forces controlling history, with the player being tasked with restoring the timeline.
Regarding the gameplay, Dragonball Xenoverse is fast, furious and like the last installments it depends on contracting reflexes while fighting for players to pull off a special move in the game. Characters can easily deplete each other's health bars by combining both weak and strong attacks in a strategic manner, but they can also mix up things using the energy blasts and special moves, like Goku's signature move Kamehameha.
The most exciting feature of the game is that players have the ability to teleport behind opponents which could be a huge game changer when playing.
The Dragon Ball Xenoverse is said to be release on Dec. 31, 2015 with the price of $59.99.
