The Daredevil Netflix series teased its fans last week by releasing the first photos of Matt Murdock on his costume. The show, which will star Charlie Cox on the lead role, is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. While the photo got fans even more excited, they are still more eager to know the Daredevil Netflix Series release date.
Comicbookmovie wrote that the ‘ever reliable’ Marvel Spider Twitter account probably revealed Daredevil Netflix Series release date.

“The ever reliable @Marvel_Spider spotted the following premiere date for Daredevil, and while it is of course subject to change or could be an error of some sort, we may now have a better idea of when we'll see the 13-part series debut on the online streaming service. Of course, it's worth nothing that May 1st is the same date that Avengers: Age of Ultron is set to be released, so would Marvel be wise to release this show on the same day?! It's hard to say, although it wouldn't be at all surprising if that movie's after-credits scene was somehow tied to Daredevil and encouraged people to go home and watch it. We'll be sure to bring you more details on this when they come!”
The Daredevil Netflix Series Release Date is yet to be confirmed but showrunner Steven S DeKnight hints that waiting will all be worth it as the show will not be your ordinary supehero story. He even said that Daredevil isn’t really the type of superhero you would root for.
“There are no heroes and villains, just people making choices,” he said. “There will be times on the show when you won’t be sure who to root for.”
And with the fact that it is on Netflix, audiences will have a better TV experience.
“You don’t have to rely on cliffhangers, you can spend more time on real story,” Charli Cox said. “It’s going to feel like a 13-hour movie.” The hundreds of fans crammed into Hall 1-D cheered at the prospect.”
Aside from Cox, Daredevil Netflix series will also star Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.
