A video of all-boys pop group 5SOS allegedly ignoring a group of girls has been going viral on the internet.
According to an article from thehothits.com, the video shows the boys ignoring three girls who were asking for a quick picture with them. Also seen on the video is Calum Hood, one of the members, running away from the girls. Another member, Luke Hemmings waved to the fans as he and his bandmates were being ushered into a nearby elevator.
The three girls, who were not named, were persistent enough for security personnel to take some action asking the trio to give them some privacy since it's their "day off". One of the girls replied, "we don't take a day off from buying their music" in which security tells them off "you don't have to buy their music, it's your choice"
Calum Hood posted a tweet, which was later on deleted, "Hi, I don't think you realize how many people we meet a day. Sometimes you need a break. You obviously don't realize that. Bye."
After the incident, one of the fans slammed the band but later on apologized on Twitter.
"I LOVE YOU SO MUCH CALUM I NEVER MEANT TO HURT YOU THAT WASNT MY INTENTION I SWEAR"
She added, "I ALWAYS COMPLAIN ABOUT HOW I WANT TO GET NOTICED BUT NOW I JUAT WISH I DIDNT BC EVERYONE HATES ME INCLUDING CALUM...THANKS TO EVERYONE WHOS TWEETED OR DMED ME NICE THINGS IM. SHAKING So MUCH RN"
After being on the end of some rough comments, she tweeted: "I HAVE DELETED THE TWEET AND I HOMESTLY HAD IT COMING I WAS SO RUDE I JUST DIDNT TJINK HED NOTICE ME"
