We compared Apple's iPhone 6, Motorola's Nexus 6 and the HTC One M8 based on their specs, feature and price.
First, the operating system of the iPhone 6 is the iOS8 while Nexus 6 will have the new Android L. The HTC One M8 has been release a few months earlier and has the Android 4.4.4 KitKat as its OS.
Second point of comparison is the size and display of these three brands. HTC's M8 has 5 inches and 1920 x 1080 pixel HD display. The iPhone 6 is much smaller at 4.7 inch with a 1334 x 750 HD with an IPS Retina Display. The Nexus 6 has the largest display with 5.9 inch and 2392 x 1440p resolution.
Compared to the two, the Nexus 6 is basically a phablet. The iPhone 6 plus with a 5.5 inch display is also a phablet. Unlike the iPhone 6 which comes in two sizes, there is only one size for the Nexus 6.
The M8 is powered by quad core Snapdragon 801 processor running at 2.3 GHz. The iPhone 6 is powered by dual core A8 processor running at 1.4 GHz. The Nexus 6 has the most powerful processor, a Qualcomm Snapdragon running at 2.65GHz. Both Android phones had the advantage when it comes to RAM. The iPhone has only 1 GB of RAM, M8 has 2 GB and the Nexus 6 has 3GB.
The iPhone 6 has various internal storage options at 16, 64 and 128 GB. There are no micro-SD slots for this Apple device. The HTC One M8 and Nexus 6 have 32 GB of internal storage and slot for a micro-SD.
The M8 has a modest 4 Ultrapixel rear camera and a large 5 MP front camera. It also has a dual flash. The iPhone 6 has an 8 MP rear camera resolution and a 1.2 MP front camera. The Nexus 6 will possibly have a 13 MP rear camera resolution and a 2 MP front camera.
The battery for the HTC One M8 is at 2,600 mAh and non-removable. Meanwhile, Apple did not mention any specifics about the battery for the iPhone. But a recent benchmark test seems to indicate that the battery has a capacity of 1800 mAh. The Nexus 6 is powered by a powerful 3,200 mAh battery.
