Another Broken Egg Cafe expects to double its nationwide presence with a target of 100 restaurants by 2018.
The company promotes Kevin Armantrout, one of the highest earning former franchisees, as COO to overlook the planned growth strategy. Armantrout will lead the company's plan for expansion, setting eyes on entering the Dallas market. He'll be responsible in establishing the Cafe's brand in key markets with new corporate locations.
One of their plans for expansion is to try unconventional locations such as casinos, hotels, and resort communities. The Cafe already has 39 restaurants in 13 states. They aim to more than double the number in the next few years.
CEO of Another Broken Egg Cafe Ron Green said, "As we prepare for our next stage of growth, it's essential that we have all systems in order and the right people in the right positions to take the brand to the next level."
Green said that Armantrout's visions align with the company and understands the Cafe's culture. The CEO said that since Armantrout shares his vision, it can strengthen the franchise system while making sure of "sustained growth and operational excellence."
Armantrout has a 30-year experience in the restaurant industry. He was former franchisee of Ruth's Chris Steak house and VP of Franchise Development. He became a franchise of the Cafe in 2012 and was responsible for its first restaurant in Indiana and the upcoming store in Kentucky.
"As the new COO, the impact I plan to deliver is one that continues Another Broken Egg Cafe's momentum and expansion." said Armantrout.
The new COO said that he's excited to work with Green, since the company's philosophy complements his. He'll make sure to support the company's growth potential, especially its prospering franchise system.
Another Broken Egg Cafe has successfully penetrated the business sector and experienced 200% unit growth over the past two years.
