The "Into The Forest" actress Ellen Page is starring in 'True Detectives" parody as she plays a tiny character together with co-star and "House of Cards" actress Kate Mara.
Dubbed as the "Tiny Detectives," the hit HBO drama's parody show was making it big in the internet as it features female lead roles.
The "Into The Forest" actress Ellen Page and Kate Mara play as pint-sized ladies in the Funny or Die spoof.
"The actresses play a detective duo who are much too short for their jobs. If evidence is on a high shelf or if they're seated behind a tall dude in a police briefing, they are completely ineffective. And don't even ask how they manage to drive around," Indie Wire said in a report.
According to E! Online, the two actresses are fit for the fake role as they can't "see the Yellow King's face through a crowd of policemen and won't take assistance in seeing blood splatters."
The "House of Cards" star Kate Mara is 5 foot two inches while the "Juno" star is only 5 foot 1 inch in height.
Moreover, the Indie Wire report also noted that the "True Detectives" parody show is "hilarious" and "glorious" with the wittiness of Kate Mara and the "Into The Forest" actress Ellen Page.
Meanwhile, actors Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn were just announced as the new addition to the cast for the season two of the real "True Detectives" show.
They will join the remaining cast which includes Taylor Kitsch, Elisabeth Moss and "The Vow" actress Rachel McAdams.
E! Online said that the "True Detectives" official description this season is: "Three police officers and a career criminal must navigate a web of conspiracy in the aftermath of a murder."
As for Ellen Page, the "X-Men" star is currently filming her new movie offering "Into The Forest" alongside co-star Evan Rachel Wood who plays as her sister.
