Watch out for your heart once the Vikings returns next year as you might not be able to take in everything that might happen. You will be either sent into a major heartache or complete joy, depending on who will be involved in the scene. According to latest Vikings Season 3 spoiler, some MAJOR characters will bid goodbye to the History Channel original show on the third season which doesn't have a release date yet. Who it is or what episode, that is yet to be answered.
At a Comic-con panel, Katheryn Winnick, who plays Lagertha, teased that some beloved characters will bid farewell from the world of Ragnar Lothbrok (played by Travis Fimmel).
"We have lost a few characters," she stated, "some beloved characters and some amazing characters, so it's been a little bit in mourning on the Vikings set. But I'm telling you, it's going to be amazing this year."
Is it Floki (played by Gustaf Skarsgård), Bjorn (Alexander Ludwig), Rollo (Clive Standen), or Althestan (George Blagden)? Well, you better wait for more Vikings Season 3 spoilers.
Here's another major Vikings Season 3 spoiler that won't require you a handkerchief. On the same event, Ludwig teased fans that his Bjorn character and Standen's Rollo will have a major bonding moment. He even described that development as 'incredible.'
"It gets insane," Alexander told Rick. "I mean, the fans are going to go crazy when they see this. I'm going crazy when I read the scripts! It's incredible!"
The Huffington Post also spoke with series creator Michael Hirst and there, he dropped another Vikings Season 3 spoiler. He said that there will be a time jump to establish Ludwig's character.
"I kind of want it, because I want to get Ragnar's sons established -- they're going to become major players in the future. But every time I think of a jump forward in time, I think about what I am going to miss, and I don't want to let go of anything -- these people or their histories or their experiences. And if I go forward five, six, seven years, everyone is going to say, "Well, what the hell happened in those intervening years?" So I suspect that I won't skip forward in time."
