‘The Best Of Me’ Coming To Theaters On 2014: A Nicholas Sparks’ Adaptation—Paul Walker’s Final Role!

Another Nicholas Sparks perfection will be invading the Cinemas from October 2014!

The 'Best of Me' is an upcoming American romantic drama film based on Nicholas Sparks' 2011 novel of the same name.

Directed by Michael Hoffman with the help of co-writer Will Fetters and J. Mills Goodloe, the story of will take place as Dawson (Marsden) and Amanda (Monaghan), two former high school sweethearts find themselves reunited after 20 years apart, when they return to their small town for the funeral of the beloved friend. Their bittersweet reunion reignites the love they've never forgotten, but soon they discover the forces that drove them apart twenty years ago live on, posing even more serious threats today. Spanning decades, this epic love story captures the enduring power of our first true love, and the wrenching choices we face when confronted with elusive second chances.

Starring James Marsden as Dawnson Cole, Michelle Monaghan for Amanda Collier, Liana Liberato as the young Amanda and Luke Bracey as the young Dawnson.

Reports have said that this adaptation is the late actor Paul Walker's final role. According to Sparks, he is actually planning on casting Walker in his romance novel; 'The Best of Me', before the actor died in a car accident on November 30.
