Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United Transfer: What Does Gareth Bale Think Of Rumors Surrounding His Real Madrid Teammate

| By

The Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United transfer is probably one of the biggest reunions that will ever happen in the history of football, or in the whole sports business. However, the deal isn’t progressing with Real Madrid insisting that they will not sell their superstar. Just last month, some Manchester United fans flew a banner at Valencia’ stadium where Cristiano Ronaldo and his team were playing. The banner was asking CR7 to return ‘home.’ Obviously, no reactions from the Portuguese star about that stunt.

His former coach Sir Alex Ferguson and current MUFC manager Louis Van Gaal have expressed their approval on the possible Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United transfer. Why would they not approve? The Portuguese star is one of the best and marketable players in the world.

For Gareth Bale, one half of the two-headed scoring monster of Real Madrid, he doesn’t want Ronaldo to go.

"Definitely not. He's shown what a world-class player he is year after year scoring the goals," said Bale during a press conference.

"Obviously he's a player we wouldn't want to see leave. Of course, I want to see him stay at Real Madrid."

Bale can calm down for now. He won’t lose his partner any time soon. In a recent report by Spanish football expert Guillem Balague on the rumored Cristiano Ronaldo Manchester United transfer, he said that Real Madrid will remain defiant in releasing the two-time Ballon D’or winner regardless of the money involved.

"I know for a fact Real Madrid will not let Cristiano go this summer, no way," he said.

"It doesn’t matter that Manchester United have the finances to get him, it doesn’t matter that Cristiano is thinking of coming back – Real Madrid won’t let him go."

Ronaldo has also expressed that his focus right now is Real Madrid.

“It’s nothing important, what’s important is Madrid. On a personal level, things are going well and I want to help this shirt. I don’t see a need to talk about things outside the club,” Ronaldo said as reported by Alex Harris of the Daily Star.
