Apple continues to improve its upcoming operating system by giving users a heads-up on the much-awaited OS X Yosemite. Release date is set with launch of newest MacBook Air and MacBook Pro in October.
OS X Yosemite is designed "to elevate the experience of using a Mac. To do that, [Apple] looked at the entire system and refined it app by app. Feature by feature. Pixel by pixel. [Apple] build great new capabilities into the interface that put need-to-now information at your fingertips. The result is that your Mac has a fresh new look, with all the power and simplicity you know and love," according to Apple.
Apple explains the idea behind OS X Yosemite upon its release date on its official site saying, "Thoughtfully redesigning OS X meant going deep into every aspect of the interface like focusing on details large and small. There are obvious changes to big things, like translucency in windows and streamlined toolbars. And there are more subtle changes in a lot of small things, like the buttons, icon and font you see throughout the system."
Recent news on OS X Yosemite release date shows that golden master public beta 5 version has been released for users in the AppleSeed program. It can be downloaded from the Mac App Store as well as through Apple's Mac Dev Center, and known as build 14A386a. Though this version doesn't seem to have obvious changes from its predecessor, it does however contain bug fixes for further enhancement of the system.
Upon OS X Yosemite release date, Apple users will experience the Handoff feature that allows users to switch between devices - from iphones, iPads and via the iCloud - easily from where the users left off. This increases the productivity among the users' Apple devices that use applications like Numbers, Mail, Pages and Safari. And thus, making syncing quite easy.
Apple users will also be able to experience text messaging received directly from the desktop, as well as tethering from the Macbooks upon the OS X Yosemite release date.
The most recent MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are also rumored to be launched with the OS X Yosemite release date coming this fall.
