Magic Mike XXL release date is finally confirmed! And it is bound to put theatres on fire with its hot scenes on July 1, 2015!
Channing Tatum posted on his official instagram a photo captioned:
"Breaking #MagicMikeXXL news -- the @MagicMikeMovie sequel hits theaters July 1, 2015 with a slew of new faces including @ElizabethBanks, @childishgambino, #AmberHeard, @AndieMacDowell, #JadaPinkettSmith and @MichaelStrahan! Filming is underway now with #ChanningTatum and most of the original cast you love. 'LIKE' if you can't wait!"
But two of the original cast Matthew McConaughey and Cody Horn confirmed that they won't be reprising their roles.
Alex Pettyfer looks like he won't be joining the cast too. The cast had started filming the sequel of the most anticipated movie in Savannah Georgia, but Alex has not been seen in Georgia and his posts on Instagram shows different locations but not near Georgia.
Rumors suggest that the model actor wont join the cast because of his rift with lead star Channing Tatum.
But a source told Ok Magazine,
"Alex is dying to reprise his role, but Channing is on the fence," "It's going to take a lot of sucking up for Alex to get his part back."
The synopsis of the sequel was recently released before Channing announced Magic Mike XXL release date on Instagram.
"Picking up the story three years after Mike bowed out of the stripper life at the top of his game, Magic Mike XXL finds the remaining Kings of Tampa likewise ready to throw in the towel.
"But they want to do it their way: burning down the house in one last blow-out performance in Myrtle Beach, and with legendary headliner Magic Mike sharing the spotlight with them.
"On the road to their final show, with whistle stops in Jacksonville and Savannah to renew old acquaintances and make new friends, Mike and the guys learn some new moves and shake off the past in surprising ways."
