Movie action star Liam Neeson is now "back to track" on theaters with Taken 3 to be launch by 20th Century Fox on January 9, 2015.
Taken 3 is the third installment of the extremely profitable Liam Neeson action-thriller series, which is co-written and produced by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. The director of the project is already confirmed with Olivier Megaton.
The plot of the story is said to be Liam Neeson returning as ex-covert operative Bryan Mills, whose settlement with his ex-wife is tragically cut short when she is brutally killed. Consumed with rage, and framed for the crime, Mills goes on the run to escape the persistent pursuit of the CIA, FBI and the police. For one last time, Mills must use his particular set of skills, "to track down" the real killers, thorough his unique brand of justice, and protect the only thing that matters to him now - his daughter.
In an interview with Hollywood.com, screenwriter Robert Mark Kamen says, "We didn't start talking about [it] until we saw the numbers," he told the outlet. "But then we said, 'Oh, okay. I think we should do a third one.' And Fox wants us to do a third one."
For Kamen, the first obstacle in producing another sequel is the way on how to continue the story, until he mentions that he has got already some details worked out.
"We've taken everyone we can take," he says. "It's going to go in another direction."
Aside from the movie star Liam Neeson starring as Bryan Mills, audience will also see again Taken 1 & 2 costars Maggie Grace as Kim and Famke Janssen as Lenore as cast members. They will also witness Dougray Scott as Stuart St. John, Sam Spruell as Oleg Malankov, Leland Orser as Sam to join the screen.
