Will the ‘Plastics’ ever get back together again in a movie? The love interest of Queen Plastic, Regina George and home schooled jungle girl Cady Heron, Aaron Samuels (Jonathan Bennett) tells us what’s really up.
Just last October 3, fans have come together to celebrate the official Mean Girls Day. In an exclusive interview with HollywoodLife.com, Bennett says they ‘may be getting an onscreen reunion’ soon.
“I think we’re trying to fish for something that is such a beautiful thing, we just leave it where it is,” Jonathan told HollywoodLife.com. “People keep trying to say, like, let’s do another movie. It’s like, I think that’s part of the reason why they haven’t touched doing another film is because like, if it’s broke, don’t fix it.”
He continued, “Even though we may be getting an onscreen reunion anytime soon, could we be treated to a cast get together onDancing With The Stars?” It is reported that Bennett is part of the current season.
“I think it would be fun if any of the cast would come watch,” Jonathan toldHollywoodLife.com. “I’m pretty sure Lacey Chabert will come to a taping.”
Mean Girls was released in 2004. The story revolves around Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan)a home schooled girl from Africa who is trying out high school for the first time. She meets Karen Smith (Amanda Seyfried), Gretchen Weiners (Lacey Chabert) and the Queen Bee of all Plastics, Regina George (Rachel McAdams).
