The third season of "Ripper Street" will premiere on Amazon U.K. in November and will be available for streaming on their Prime Instant Video service.
The eight-episode season will air on BBC One (UK) and BBC America (US) in 2015.
Timeslot and schedules are not yet announced
A spokesman said there were currently no plans for the show to become available on Amazon Prime Instant Video in the U.S.
Actor Matthew Macfadyen stars the show as Detective Inspector Reid, alongside Jerome Flynn as Detective Inspector Bennet Drake, Adam Rothenberg as Captain Homer Jackson, and MyAnna Buring as Long Susan.
Amazon and the BBC previously teamed up to bring back the show from producers Tiger Aspect Productions and Lookout Point, after the BBC canceled it citing weak ratings.
The first two episodes of season three will be available for Amazon Prime Instant Video subscribers at 9 pm on November 14.
A new episode will be released every week at the same time and day until the season finale on Dec 26.
Episodes of Ripper Street's third season on Amazon Prime Instant Video will include scenes that will not be shown in the BBC TV version.
"In its design, [season three] of Ripper Street was always meant to be our most ambitious yet, and we are delighted that Amazon has given us the creative freedom to make good on that ambition," said the show's creator and writer Richard Warlow. "With no restrictions on either the content or the length of each episode, we have been able to reassemble our magnificent cast and pitch them into a suite of stories which we hope will delight the millions of fans."
