It was reported a few days ago about Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo’s break up. In the world of Hollywood, this couple was one of those pairs who had a big chance of walking down the aisle.
Reports that were released after the split states that the two had a ‘mutual break up’ and that it was for the best. Both sides even gave good, decent parting words - until now. With both parties doing individual interviews regarding the break up, it seems as if there are now two different stories.
According to thehothits.com, some media companies were reporting that the couple ended things after Jason got model Carmen Ortega pregnant – but the singer has spoken out to deny those reports.
During an interview with Ryan Seacrest’s segment ‘On Air’, he told the host He said, “I’m not one to throw my business out on the street, but I thought it was important because things are getting a little out of hand.”
“I’m seeing all kind of stories about somebody getting pregnant, infidelity, things like me calling it off because of me being too busy and because of my newfound success. So I thought it was important for me to call in and clear the air.”
He continued, “What happened… in a nutshell, there was a lot of tension in the relationship for a lot of different reasons.”
“Every relationship has ups and downs. There was a lot of pressures of marriage.”
He continued, “There was a lot of arguing and stuff like that that just weighed on our relationship over time. When you stop having more good times than bad times, it’s time to call it quits. It becomes something that is unhealthy.”
“To be fair, it was not just from her either,” he said of the pressure to get married. “It was kind of from everybody. That’s not the sole reason, but it definitely played a part.”
As for how the exes are doing now, Derulo added, “There’s no bad blood. We didn’t end off on a weird way or a negative way. It’s not like we’re hitting each other up, like, ‘Hey, what are you doing today?’”
While Jason voiced out that it was the pressure to settle down that made him decide to end the relationship, Sparks thought otherwise.
In a guest appearance on the Wendy Williams show to promote her new movie ‘Left Behind’, Jordin does acknowledge that Jason is, ” a great guy,” but when Wendy directly asked her about the cheating rumors, she said, “I actually don’t wanna comment on that.”
