Fallout, a highly anticipated game especially for PC, PS4, and Xbox One users is a Role-Playing Game (RPG) to be developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.
Due to lack of any official announcements and information regarding the game's stage of development, some reports are already gambling that there isn't a Fallout 4 at all.
Speaking about rumors, a report from Kotaku last year said that "Fallout 4" was indeed in progress for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Members of different gaming community forums believed otherwise that the game's production delays were probably paused as Bethesda was rumored to have agreed in passing over the project to Battle Studios.
In addition, there are leaked documents indicating that the project might be called "The Institute" instead of "Fallout".
Allegedly, the main character, to be called as The Player, will have a companion. He will be joined by his great great-grandfather, a veteran in the 1945 war.
Considering all these overcoming assumptions, Pete Hines of Bethesda has finally debunked the rumors. Although it may take some considerable wait, gamers and fans will just have to wait for the official details that are to be released by the studio itself.
"Parts of our team have also been in pre-production on our next major project, and that game is at the point where it requires the studio's full attention to make it our biggest and best work yet," the studio pointed out.
Besides the secrecy regarding the details about the Fallout 4 and the sequel's released, Pete Hines stated that the whole reason why they went out and acquired the license and now they own Fallout is that they clearly intend to make more than one.
Above all, if "Fallout 4" will be made available on PS3 and Xbox 360, the studio may lengthen the waiting time for a few more months. Also, reports have been drawing attention to a possible "Fallout 4" release date in the middle of 2015 at the earliest, or possibly in early 2016.
