The Flash CW Series Spoilers: Did DC Comics Just Hinted That Wally West Will Join The New Superhero Series Through Their Recent Post?

| By

In previous The Flash CW Series spoiler, the identities of the villains that will terrorize Starling City were revealed one by one. Among them are Captain Cold (to be played by Wentworth Miller), Bette Sans Souci (Kelly Frye), General Wade Elling (Clancy Brown) and Heatwave (Dominic Purcell). As if these enemies intended to slow down The Flash (Grant Gustin) are not enough, one more villain could be coming, at least that's what the recent DC Comics post indicated.

In a The Flash-themed post titled Catching Up With The Flashes, DC Comics introduced (or re-introduced) Wally West, a character created by John Broome and Carmine Infantino who is the nephew of the existing Flash character's girlfriend and later wife, Iris West. The renowned comics company didn't just let the fans know more about him, it also said that Wally West will be reflected in the first episode of the show.

"Of all the Flashes, Wally has probably undergone the greatest number of changes over time. Initially the slowest Flash, capable of only running a little faster than the speed of sound, Wally would eventually discover his link to the Speed Force-the energy source that gives the Flashes their power-and in so doing would go on to become the fastest of the Flashes. Wally also saw slight changes to his costume, and recently, with his reintroduction into The New 52, saw his race change from Caucasian to African American, a change that is likely to be reflected in the Flash TV show," it wrote without really clearing if this is a confirmed The Flash CW series spoiler.

Since Wally West is supposed to be the nephew of Barry Allen, it is hard to imagine how he will spring up in the show. But of course, DC has its way of shaking things up to make things possible. So fans will just have to wait for further The Flash CW Series spoilers.

The Flash TV series will premiere on October 7.
