The Expendables 4 is a sequel of the movie Expendables, which started on 2010, directed by Avi Lerner. Starred by the legendary Sylvester Stallone, as Barney Ross, the movie already got its audiences for the past sequels.

The story started when the Expendables are committed of treason after the Presidential plane explodes. They become fugitives and are hunted by the FBI and two bounty hunters. The group employ the help of Trench to find the real culprit. And when he is discovered, so are his connections to Barney Ross. The Expendables are eventually caught and arrested, and Trench forms the New Expendables, with some familiar faces, to break them out. The film ends with the team disbanding, moving on to different lives.

Expendables members are casts with Jason Statham as Lee Christmas, Antonio Banderas as Galgo, Jet-Li as Yin Yang, Wesley Snipes as Doc, Bruce Willis as Church, Dolph Lundgrenas Gunner Jensen, Marlon Brando as Billy Drummer, Terry Crews as Hale Caesar, Randy Couture as Toll Road, Kellan Lutz as John Smilee, Ronda Rousev as Luna, Glen Powell as Thorn, Victor Ortiz as Mars and Arnold Schwarzenegger as Trench Mauser.

Some of the biggest names in action films will also be shooting for Expendables 4, like, Denzel Washington as the President, Kevin Costner as Commisioner Jones, FBI Officer, Mark Wahlberg as Lieutenant Williamson, FBI Officer, Ian McKellen as John Christmas, Lee's father, Ray Park as Speed and Dave Bautista as Beast, bodyguards of Artemis Wilson, Hugh Jackman as Holt Bartenbauzer and Vin Diesel as Frank Walker, bounty hunters, Ron Perlman as Artemis Wilson, former James Bond, Pierce Brosnan, Hulk Hogan, Robert de Niro, Steven Seagal, Harrison Ford as Max Drummer and the main villain Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

While the New Expendables are filled by Scarlett Johanson as Jamie Wilson, mother of Kellan Ross and wife of Artemis Wilson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Kellan Ross, Barney's son, Chuck Norris as Booker, Clint Eastwood as McCain, Mickey Rourke as Tool, Liam Neeson as Hunter, Tom Cruise as Maverick, Nicolas Cage as Ryder and Jackie Chan as Wong.

In an interview with Den of Geek, Chan explained his disappearance on the movie's third sequel, "This morning I did hear - the office called - Sly [Stallone] wants me for 'Expendables 4.' I said, 'Okay.' Because they already asked me to be in two and three, but I refused. Well, I didn't refuse, but I said, 'Sly, can't we just do you and me? Not just a bunch of people and me only coming out for five minutes.' Because then the audience is, 'Oh!' And then I'm gone."

According to Stallone, they plan on adding more celebrities from around the world and not just Americans. The star cast will be international and hence appeal to a global audience at a personal level.

"We always wanted to work with Jackie, but due to a shortage of central roles, an arrangement could not be made. However, in the upcoming installment, we will surely try to bring him on board. For The Expendables 4, we are trying to reduce the number of stars and increase their individual screen time. Let's see how that goes!" Stallone said.

Besides the leak of Expendables 3 before its arrival on theaters in August 2015, many are still wanting to see more on The Expendables 4.
